Supply Chain Innovation
The biggest disruptions in the supply chain haven’t come from traditional players but from outsiders and startups addressing underserved markets. Think of Zara and Nike reshaping logistics in fashion, Amazon redefining delivery, or Nespresso revolutionizing the coffee industry. Startups like ShipBob are also shaking up the landscape.
While most supply chain players focus on becoming leaner and more efficient - a vital goal - these efforts often lead to incremental improvements rather than transformative change. Like many industries, the supply chain is at a crossroads of major disruption. Those unprepared risk losing significant business.
To help industry players stay ahead, I partnered with supply chain associations to launch an innovation training program tailored to their unique needs. To inspire action, we also created an annual competition recognizing groundbreaking supply chain innovations.
The training program focuses on making innovation accessible and actionable. Participants explore what innovation means in the supply chain, starting with real-world examples. They analyze case studies, reflect on how to bring innovation into their own operations, and learn about key tools like prototyping and creating digital twins to test ideas.
This partnership highlights a critical truth: innovation isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. It requires thoughtful adaptation to fit the specific needs of each industry and business. Together, we’re equipping supply chain players to embrace change and lead the way forward.
If you are a company experiencing supply chain challenges, let’s connect and see how innovation is going to open up new growth options for you.
